The c&c toolbox will provide a rating for each tool based on case studies carried out. Each case study is assigned a color (green, orange, yellow or blue) based on four categories:
- acceptability: Determines whether there has been any resistance by farmers to accepting this tool.
- cost: Is the cost of the overall implementation of this tool affordable to farmers within their normal operations?
- timing: Is the amount of time it takes this tool to implement reasonable to farmers?
- effectiveness: Has the tool performed the expected benefits to farmers?
final tool rating: The final rating, which will be the one the user will see depicted on the tool itself, shows the percentage of times a tool has been rated a certain color, based on the number of farmers who have implemented the tool.
