After information about a c&c tool is collected during the testing period, it should be analyzed with the results summarized. To communicate key findings effectively the c&c toolbox provides case studies for tested tools. The case studies include recommendations for further trials or larger-scale implementation, as well as important lessons learned. The tool is rated by extensionists according to its effectiveness (e.g. if it achieved its purpose), acceptability (e.g. if farmers were willing to accept the new technique), affordability (e.g. if farmers afford to use this tool) and timing (e.g. when benefits occurred). Moreover, a case study is formed by formal assessment of plant parameters and discussions with farmers.
